About this talk

Innovation is a necessity for any organisation that wants to keep up with our fast-paced world. For organisations in the ‘doing good’ space, ensuring your products or services provide the best possible experience for your beneficiaries and having a strong pipeline of new, income generating ideas is vital. But there’s lots to think about: putting in place an innovation process, creating a culture where innovation can thrive and building capability of employees across your organisation. But, to do innovation effectively, you must start by developing a strategy. Not a fluffy vision in a nicely designed document, one that everyone across your organisation understands and aligns with your business strategy. But I hear you…where do I start? Join me to understand the ins and outs of how to develop an effective innovation strategy to meet the needs of your organisation and customers. You'll leave with tips and tools to start building your own strategy, along with my own personal red flags from years of succeeding (and sometimes failing...) to do so in the charity sector.
